Some men are able to get an erection but find that their erection does not last long enough for satisfactory intercourse.  This is often due to a condition known as venous leak.  Many of these men can be helped with the use of VenoSeal, an adjustable penile constriction loop that is placed and tightened at the base of the penis.  With proper tension, the VenoSeal device will be comfortable to the user but also provide enough additional pressure to prevent blood from flowing back into the body, thus maintaining an erection.

This premier event for UK TIVA enthusiasts will take place in the former Army Staff College Building at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst (Surrey) on 24th and 25th November.  Attendance will give Anaesthetists and clinicians with an interest in intravenous anaesthesia an excellent opportunity to meet experts in the field of TIVA/TCI and enjoy a programme of varied and stimulating sessions ranging from practical applications (and workshops) to emerging issues.

The award was presented during an Awards Dinner at the Crowne Plaza, Marlow last night.  The judges stated that it had been a very difficult category to judge due to the high standard of all the finalists.  However, it was our successes in France and the USA, and our commitment and strategies for growth which pushed us ahead of the other finalists.

The trading conditions internationally over the past year have been difficult, so winning this award shows that we are prepared to go that extra mile.  It recognises the efforts of the entire team, especially James, Carol, Ilaria and Laurent.  Indeed James, Ilaria and Laurent were out of the country drumming up additional business for team Mediplus when the ceremony took place!
