Product Information - Transducer Pressure Domes

To complete the range of urodynamics products available from Mediplus, we now offer several popular pressure transducer domes.

The MX848 - Novatrans® II disposable dome with male/female luer lock is a hygienic, cost effective solution with its disposable dome, easy to use “snap-grid” coupling and high precision measurement.

The main feature of the MX848 is that it has no liquid between the transducer and the dome diaphragms.

The MX950X2SC - Transtar disposable pressure dome transducer with 2 stopcocks is designed for use with the Medex clamp and modular plating system.

SetGuard & Extension Sets

SetGuard is a short connecting tube incorporating a non-return valve, designed to fit between a pump tube set and filling catheter, which ensures the pump tube set remains free from contamination caused by back- flow from the catheter. Supplied sterile for single-use, Setguard enables pump tube sets to be used more than once safely and with no risk to patients.

CystoSetGuard, an innovative product for cystoscopy, is a simple extension set incorporating a one-way valve to prevent backflow into cystoscopy tubing, facilitating safe multiple use of the fluid and administration sets.  Designed for ease of use and to make a significant cost-saving on cystoscopy consumables, it also reduces waste and makes environmental savings on urology disposables.

Our extension sets are supplied in a variety of lengths and connectors to enable use in most situations with most appliances.
