Product Information - TIVA Advantage Range
To help with ever increasing financial pressure on healthcare budgets, Mediplus has released a new high quality and cost-effective range of infusion lines and peripheral connectors.
The main features are:
- Non-return valves at all ports to prevent reflux of drugs and free-flow (anti-siphon)
- High flow anti-reflux valve (Coventry connector) for a flow up to 250ml/min
- "J" loop to prevent kinking/occlusion of the tubing
- Removable bridge to give more flexibility when moving/transferring the patient
- RED end caps at all connections comply with the UK Department of Health guidelines issued following Project Orcadian which reported on incidents with clear end caps and patient breathing circuits. See http://www.dh.gov.uk for more information
