New manufacturing techniques and methods have brought cost effective advantages for these single-use manometry catheters.  On the anorectal catheters use of a universal thermoplastic balloon, which is able to expand from 60 - 400ml, has given versatility with patient’s needs.  A syringe-activated check valve is also included to maintain balloon inflation. They are supplied clean, non-sterile.
